Established in 1977, the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health at PGIMER, Chandigarh, has been at the forefront of advancing public health education and healthcare delivery. The department offers a range of academic programs, including the MD in Community Medicine, Master of Public Health (MPH), PhD, and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health Management, and BPH among others. The department is actively involved in community health services, providing comprehensive healthcare to a population of over 150,000 across Chandigarh, Haryana, and Punjab.
